About Quarterly Drawings

How it Works

We appreciate all the time and energy contributed by MHA Volunteers! In an effort to show our thanks and encourage ongoing participation we offer a gift of gratitude to one winner of the drawing each quarter! Gifts often include gift cards to local businesses, t-shirts, water bottles, etc.

To enter the drawing, complete any of the following activities in a given quarter (Jan - March, April - June, July-Sept, Oct - Dec). Some activities will receive one entry into the drawing, while others require more time or effort and will receive multiple entries. Each quarter we will also highlight a special category that earns double entries for that particular quarter. Please email Stacey Costner or Lizz Grimsley to update us on any activities you complete (such as local trainings) that we may not be aware of.  

To enter:

  • Complete your monthly Compeer volunteer report (1 entry)

  • Attend a Volunteer Advisory Committee meeting (1 entry)

  • Deliver CSF bags for 1 day (1 entry)

  • Offer volunteer support at an MHA sponsored event (1 entry)

  • Complete the Compeer International annual survey (2 entries - seasonal)

  • Submit an anecdote, quote, or picture about your experience volunteering with MHA to help us spread the word (2 entries)

  • Refer a friend to volunteer with Compeer (3 entries)

  • Be the point of contact for your group or organization to host CSF friendship bags for a particular month (3 entries)

  • Lead a monthly art activity (3 entries)

  • Expand your toolkit with completion of a local mental health related training (3 entries)

Double Entry Categories

Each quarter a special task will be worth double entries for that particular quarter.

Special categories will be announced each quarter! The best way to learn about double entry categories, local trainings, and other opportunities is through our monthly newsletter.

How to Report Completed Activities

To update Compeer staff on activities, you can either email us with updates or submit a quarterly drawing report form.

Emails should go to either Stacey Costner (scostner@clevelandcountymha.org) or Lizz Grimsley (egrimsley@clevelandcountymha.org).

Rules

There is no limit to how many entries you can gain in a given quarter.

Entries will reset at the beginning of each quarter. Entries do not carry over from one quarter to the next.

Once you’ve won a quarter in a given year, you will not be eligible to win any more in that year.

Entries should be reported by the 15th of the month following the end of a quarter: Activities completed during the first quarter (January - March) should be reported by April 15. Activities completed during the second quarter (April - June) should be reported by July 15. Activities completed during the third quarter (July - September) should be reported by October 15. Activities completed during the last quarter (October - December) should be reported by January 15.

Please do not assume Compeer staff knows about what activities you’ve completed during a given quarter. To ensure we have the most up to date information, send us an email or complete a quarterly drawing report form.
