Organization Updates
We are now accepting applications for new volunteers!
After spending some time revisiting and updating our programming, we're in a place to begin accepting new volunteers who are interested in connecting with the community. We currently offer three ways to volunteer:
Special Events: Volunteers help with a variety of mental health awareness events and information booths throughout the year. We also depend on volunteer support for activities that we offer on a monthly basis for the public, including our monthly art activity.
Outreach: We’re always looking for volunteers who can help support our effort to reach as many people as possible in Cleveland County. Help MHA connect with other local agencies, individuals who might benefit from our programs, pass out flyers, and more.
Direct Service: Join us at one of our monthly mental wellness programs in the community as we educate adults & youth about ways they can support their mental health or help us collaborate with other community organizations to help support the individuals they serve.
If you are interested in helping us achieve our mission, apply to be a volunteer by clicking here. Please note: volunteers must be 18 years and older.
Upcoming Events Hosted by MHA
This list contains all events that are led by or in collaboration with the Mental Health Association of Cleveland County. You can also find these listed on our calendar.
Happening Locally
Here are some things you can do locally to help get you connected to activities that can support your mental health. All activities are free (F) or low-cost (LC). If you know of any things to do in Cleveland County and think we should include it in our monthly newsletter, send an to egrimsley@clevelandcountymha.org.
